How long is a session?

Therapy sessions last 45 minutes. The free introductory call is 10 minutes.

How many therapy sessions will I need?

It depends on what you would like to work on. Some people find a few sessions enough; others prefer longer-term support. We'll review progress together, and you can stop at any time.

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No. You can get in touch with me directly.

Is what I say in therapy confidential?

Yes. What you share stays private. The only exceptions are the usual safeguarding limits, for example if there were a serious risk to you or someone else. I explain these clearly in your first session.

Who do you tutor?

I tutor children from primary school through to GCSE, including 11+, 12+ and SATs preparation. I teach Russian at all levels and to all ages, including adults. I'm DBS checked.

Can I have therapy online?

Yes. Online therapy sessions take place by secure video. You just need a private space and a stable connection.

How do tutoring payments work?

Tutoring is paid monthly, and I reserve a regular slot for each student.

What if we miss a tutoring lesson?

Because each slot is reserved for the student, missed lessons are not refunded. You can rebook up to 3 missed lessons each year.

What if I need to cancel a therapy session?

Please give me at least 48 hours' notice so I can offer the time to someone else. Sessions cancelled with less notice may be charged in full.

What if I'm in crisis?

I can't offer emergency support. If you are in danger call 999. For urgent mental health help call NHS 111 and choose option 2, or Samaritans on 116 123, free and at any time.
